Warranty Policy

Comprehensive Wheel Warranty Policy

This document outlines the comprehensive warranty policy for our wheels, detailing coverage, exclusions, conditions for claims, and the claims process. We are committed to providing high-quality products and stand behind their durability and craftsmanship.

I. Warranty Coverage

Our warranty provides protection against manufacturing defects, ensuring your peace of mind with every purchase.

A. Structural Warranty: Lifetime Guarantee
We offer a robust lifetime structural warranty to the original retail purchaser. This warranty covers defects in the structural integrity of the wheel, ensuring it remains free from issues such as cracks, breaks, or deformations that occur under normal driving conditions. For this warranty to remain valid, wheels must be properly installed by a qualified technician and maintained according to industry standards and our recommendations. This includes regular cleaning, proper tire inflation, and adherence to vehicle manufacturer specifications. This warranty applies as long as the original purchaser owns the wheels and they are used in their intended application.

B. Finish and Workmanship Warranty: One Year Protection
Our wheels are warranted against defects in their finish and overall workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. This includes protection against issues such as peeling, flaking, bubbling, or other significant aesthetic defects that are not a result of external damage or improper care. This warranty ensures that the visual quality and integrity of the wheel's coating meet our high standards for a substantial period.

II. Warranty Exclusions

It is important to understand what is not covered by this warranty. These exclusions clarify the scope of our responsibility and ensure fair application of the policy.

A. Damage from External Factors:
This warranty explicitly excludes damage resulting from external impacts or forces, including but not limited to:

  • Accidents and Collisions: Any damage incurred as a direct or indirect result of vehicle accidents or collisions.
  • Impacts and Curbing: Damage caused by impacts with obstacles, such as hitting curbs, potholes, road debris, or other foreign objects.
  • Road Hazards: Damage from general road hazards that are beyond the control of the manufacturer.

B. Cosmetic Damage:
Minor aesthetic imperfections or wear and tear that do not affect the structural integrity or performance of the wheel are not covered. This includes:

  • Scratches and Abrasions: Superficial scratches or abrasions that may occur during normal use or handling.
  • Stone Chips: Small chips in the finish caused by stones or other small projectiles.
  • Discoloration: Gradual discoloration or fading over time due to environmental exposure, unless it is a direct result of a manufacturing defect in the finish.

C. Corrosion and Chemical Damage:
Damage due to environmental exposure or improper care is not covered. This includes:

  • Road Salts and Harsh Chemicals: Corrosion or deterioration caused by exposure to road salts, de-icing agents, or other harsh chemicals.
  • Improper Cleaning Agents: Damage resulting from the use of abrasive cleaners, strong solvents, or other cleaning agents not specifically recommended for wheel care.
  • Neglect: Any damage or deterioration resulting from a lack of proper cleaning and maintenance.

D. Unintended Use:
Our warranty is designed for wheels used in their intended applications. It does not cover:

  • Racing or Performance Applications: Wheels used in competitive racing events, track days, or other high-performance driving scenarios.
  • Off-Road Applications: Wheels subjected to off-road conditions, including but not limited to severe terrain, mudding, or rock crawling.
  • Overload Applications: Wheels used on vehicles that exceed the manufacturer-specified load ratings or for purposes that impose excessive stress on the wheels.

E. Alterations and Unauthorized Repairs:
Any modifications or unauthorized interventions to the wheels will void the warranty. This includes:

  • Altered or Modified Wheels: Any changes to the original design, structure, or finish of the wheels.
  • Repaired or Welded Wheels: Repairs, welding, or any other attempts to fix damaged wheels by unauthorized parties.

F. Incidental and Consequential Damages:
This warranty is limited to the repair, refinishing, or replacement of the wheels themselves. It does not cover any associated costs or damages, including:

  • Labor Costs: Expenses related to mounting, dismounting, or installing the wheels.
  • Balancing and Alignment: Costs for wheel balancing or vehicle alignment.
  • Shipping Costs: Unless otherwise specified or agreed upon, initial shipping costs for warranty claims.
  • Loss of Use: Any inconvenience or financial loss incurred due to the inability to use the vehicle while wheels are being inspected or serviced.
  • Other Incidental/Consequential Damages: Any other indirect or secondary damages that may arise from a warranty claim.

III. Conditions for Warranty Claims

To ensure a smooth and valid warranty claim, certain conditions must be met.

All warranty claims must be filed through the original business of purchase.

A. Original Retail Purchaser:
This warranty is strictly applicable only to the original retail purchaser of the wheels and is non-transferable. Subsequent owners of the wheels are not covered under this policy.

B. Proof of Purchase:
A valid proof of purchase, such as an original sales receipt or invoice, is required for all warranty claims. This document must clearly indicate the date of purchase, the item(s) purchased, and the purchasing retailer.

C. Intended Vehicle and Load Ratings:
The wheels must be used exclusively on the vehicle for which they were originally purchased and within the manufacturer-specified load ratings for that vehicle. Using wheels on an unapproved vehicle or exceeding load ratings can compromise safety and will void the warranty.

IV. Process for Warranty Claims

Follow these steps to initiate and process a warranty claim effectively.

Step 1: Contact Customer Support and Obtain RMA:
The first step is to contact our dedicated customer support team. You will need to explain the nature of the defect and request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. This RMA number is essential for tracking your claim.

Step 2: Provide Required Documentation:
To facilitate a thorough assessment of your claim, you will be asked to provide the following:

  • Proof of Purchase: A copy of your original sales receipt or invoice.
  • Photos of the Defect: Clear, high-resolution photographs that clearly show the alleged defect from multiple angles.
  • Written Description of the Issue: A detailed written description outlining when the defect was first noticed, how it developed, and any relevant circumstances.

Step 3: Ship Wheels for Inspection:
Once your initial claim is reviewed and an RMA is issued, you will be instructed to ship the wheel(s) to our facility for a comprehensive inspection. The customer is responsible for properly packaging the wheels to prevent further damage during transit and for covering the initial shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by our company.

Step 4: Inspection and Resolution:
Upon receipt, our qualified technicians will thoroughly inspect the wheel(s) to determine if the defect falls within the scope of our warranty. If the claim is approved, 2Crave Life reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to either:

  • Repair the Wheel: Address and fix the existing defect.
  • Issue Credit: If no replacement is available.
  • Replace the Wheel: Provide a new, equivalent wheel if repair or refinishing is not feasible or appropriate.

V. Limitations of Warranty
This warranty provides you with specific legal rights, and you may also possess other rights that can vary depending on your state or jurisdiction. Please note that no employee, representative, or third party is authorized to alter, extend, or modify the terms of this warranty unless such changes are made in writing and signed by an authorized officer of the company. Any verbal representations or agreements that deviate from this written policy are not binding.
